Touched by Cancer promotes upcoming programs

The Touched By Cancer Support Group has canceled its meeting for Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Instead, the group is promoting upcoming presentations.
There will be an interactive television (ITV) presentation from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Heartland Cancer Center, 204 Cleveland St. This presentation is of a Komen Impact panel discussion among breast cancer survivors, researchers and physicians. Dr. Mark Fesen will host the event.
Golden Belt Cinema Six will show a documentary about Human Papillomavirus (HPV) at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at the theater, 1222 Kansas Ave. The showing of “Someone you Love: The HPV Epidemic,”  is about HPV and its relationship to cancer. Heartland Cancer Center, Barton County Health Department, Clara Barton Hospital, Heartland Regional Health Clinic and the Midwest Cancer Alliance will host the showing.
Both programs are free and open to the public. There will be time for questions after each event.
