Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3111 and Ladies Auxiliary met on Nov. 27 at the Post Home.
The charter was draped in memory of Mary B. Schneider and Catherine Hazen.
The following donations were made on Oct. 27, Make a Difference Day- $200 of groceries for the Food Bank; $100 for candy for the children’s Christmas party on Dec. 8; and $50 to the Hungry Heart Kitchen.
Thelma Hipp, Americanism Chairperson, reminded the members to fly their flag at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Dec. 7, Pearl Harbor Day and at full staff on Christmas Day.
The VFW Department Mid-winter conference will be held on Jan. 11-13 in McPherson.
The next Auxiliary meeting will be held on Jan. 22 at the Post Home.
