• “The Dolly Madison Murders” documentary – 10 p.m. on Smoky Hills PBS. In September 2002, two women are found dead inside the Dolly Madison bakery in Great Bend, Kan.; 20 years later, a filmmaker finds there might be hidden reasons as to why it has remained unsolved for so long.

• Great Bend Chamber Coffee – 9 a.m., with program at 9:30, sponsored by Central Kansas Partnership. It will be held at the bicycle campground shelter behind Central Baptist Church., 3301 Lakin Ave. (Lakin and Harrison). Program will move indoors if the weather is inclement.


• Larned Chamber Coffee – 9:30 a.m. at Larned State Hospital LSH Museum (Employee Housing Unit).


• Hoisington Chamber Coffee – 9:30 a.m. hosted by USD 431 at the district office, 165 W. Third St., Hoisington.


• Crochet Club – 4-6 p.m. at the Hoisington Public Library, 169 S. Walnut. Learn how to crochet or receive assistance with an existing project.


• Fort Larned USD 495 Board of Education candidates forum – 5-7 p.m. at Jordaan Public Library, 724 Broadway in Larned. The event is open to the public and is sponsored by the Fort Larned Teachers Association.


• BCC Student Music Recital – 5 p.m. at the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel. Instrumental and vocal performances by students of the Barton Music Department. Free event.


• United Way of Central Kansas Poverty Simulation – 6-8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 2123 Forest Ave. 


• Great Bend USD 428 Education Foundation Dinner and Auction – 6 p.m. at the Great Bend Events Center. Taste of Great Bend dining stations open at 6:30 p.m., live auction at 8. The evening also includes entertainment by the GBHS Jazz Band and support for a good cause. • Golden Belt Humane Society/Adopt a Pet – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bomgaars, 5320 10th St.


• BCC Theatre Spring Production Auditions – 2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium at Barton Community College. Auditions will be held for the spring play “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.” All roles and technical positions will be cast.
