Amy Briggs and Jacob Williamson announce their engagement. Amy is the daughter of David Briggs of Huffman, Texas, and Katherine Running, of Rio Medina, Texas. Jacob is the son of Kim Guesnier, of Great Bend.
The bride-elect will graduate in December 2010 with her master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington.,
The prospective groom is a senior at Emporia State University, and is majoring in history, with a minor in sociology.
They are planning a destination wedding on Jan. 1 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
