Robert Childress and Mechelle Stone announce the engagement of their daughter Ashleigh Childress to Harold Hitschmann, the son of Agnes Lang and Harold Hitschmann.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Northwest High School in Roanoke, Texas. She graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and with an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She is employed as a general manager for men’s apparel at Williamson Dickie Manufacturing Company in Fort Worth, Texas.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Hoisington High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and is pursuing his Economics Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, at the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a machine shop superintendent at General Electric OHV Mining in Fort Worth, Texas.
A private wedding ceremony is planned for Sept. 27 at Metroport Cities Fellowship Church in Keller, Texas. A public ceremony will be held on Sept. 29  at The Clubhouse at Texas Motor Speedway.
