Dan Dolechek and Dorothy and Gene Batt, all of Hoisington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Denise Renee Dolechek, to Eric David Schmidt, son of David and Patricia Schmidt of Claflin.
The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Hoisington High School. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. She is currently completing her Masters of Science degree in Special Education at Fort Hays State University. She is employed at Great Bend High School as a Special Education English teacher.
The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Claflin High School., He attended Dodge City Community College and Bethany College. He is employed by Miller’s of Claflin.
The wedding is planned for June 11 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hoisington.
