Roxie Edwards of Great Bend announces the engagement of her daughter Brianna Rae Edwards, to Ryan Lee Dalton, son of Troy and Linda Dalton of Osawatomie.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2006, she graduated from Barton Community College and in 2008, she graduated from Emporia State University. She is employed as a 3rd grade teacher at USD 230 in Spring Hill.
The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Osawatomie High School. In 2006, he graduated from Emporia State University. He is employed by Johnson County Parks and Recreation.
The wedding was held on Oct. 20 at Faultless Event Space in Kansas City, Mo.
