Martin and Kelley Korb of Overland Park announce the engagement of their daughter Brittany Danielle Korb to Michael John Remmert, son of John Remmert and Lana and Kevin Lichter of Great Bend. The prospective groom is the grandson of Don and Doris Keeler of Great Bend and the late Bob and Irene Remmert.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of St.Thomas Aquinas in Overland Park. In 2008, she graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. She is a financial analyst for VML in Kansas City, Mo.
The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of Great Bend High School. He spent four years in the Marines and in 2008, graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. In 2009, he graduated with a Masters in Accounting from the University of Kansas. He is employed as a CPA with KPMG as a Senior Associate in Kansas City, Mo.
The wedding is planned for late May in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
