Michael and Cheryl Lewis of Smithville, Mo. announce the engagement of their daughter Miranda Lewis to Garrett DeHaven, son of Tom and Deb DeHaven of Hoisington.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Smithville High School. In 2012 she graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed as a Registered Nurse at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City.
The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Hoisington High school. In 2006 he graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. He is employed as a Chemical Operator in Formulations for Bayer Crop Science in Kansas City, Mo.
The wedding is planned for May 16, at the First Christian Church in Smithville, Mo.
