Randy and Vernell Major of Hays, announce the engagement of their daughter, Raynell Catherine Major to Aaron Paul Carpenter of Norton, son of Bill and Linda Carpenter of St. John.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School. She earned an associate’s degree from Fort Hays State University. She is employed by Mid America Management in Great Bend.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Ulysses High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University in Flint, Mich. He is employed as an engineer by New Age Industrial in Norton.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Hays.
