Rick and Cathy Mondt announce the engagement of their daughter Arika Mondt, to Jake Fanshier, son of Roger and Gayle Fanshier.
The bride-elect is a summa cum laude graduate of Fort Hays State University. She is employed as a nurse at Great Bend Regional Hospital.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a degree in Agronomy. He works on the family farm.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 11 at the First United Methodist Church.
