David and Norma Schneweis of Claflin announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacque Schneweis to Paul Simon, son of Ed and Jana Simon of Marienthal. Grandparents of the bride-elect are Leonard and Irene Mattas of Wilson and the late Lawrence and Cecelia Schneweis. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Iona Dierks of Leoti, the late R.L. and Mugs Simon, and the late Clare Dierks.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Claflin Jr./Sr. High School. In 2008, she graduated from Fort Hays State University with a major in Elementary Education. She is employed at Greeley County Elementary School in Tribune as a third grade teacher.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Wichita County High School. He is employed at Wells Ag in Marienthal.
The wedding is planned for March 1st at Holy Family Catholic Church in Odin.
