Don and Maxine Sherman, of Great Bend, announce the engagement of their daughter Audrey Sherman to Conner Crumbliss, son of Jack and Jeri Crumbliss of Arkansas City.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Great Bend High School. She graduated from Emporia State in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion. She is the manager of Emporia Fitness and also a personal trainer.
The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Arkansas City High School. He completed four years at Emporia State University. He is currently playing minor league baseball for the Oakland A’s.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 20 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Great Bend.
