Brian and Karen Sprecher of Hillsboro, Ore., announce the engagement of their daughter Kimberly Lynn Sprecher to Wyatt James Urban, son of Mike and Debbie Urban of Claflin.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Glencoe High School in Hillsboro, Ore. She graduated from Oregon State University in 2007 with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. She is employed by Journeys of the Heart Adoption Services in Hillsboro, Ore., as a domestic program director.
The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Claflin High School. He graduated in 2009 from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology. He is employed by Puremist Corporation in Hillsboro, Ore., in sales.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 2 at Surfsand Resort in Cannon Beach, Ore.
