Mr. and Mrs. Robert George of Salina announce the engagement of their daughter Holly Michelle Stockham of McPherson, to Kurtis Wade Frick of Larned, son of Kent and Karen Frick of rural Larned. Grandparents of the bride-elect are Elderidge and Hazel George of Wichita, and John and Carolyn Casey of Dallas, Texas. Grandparents of the prospective groom are Alma Frick and Mildred Fyler, both of Larned, the late Raymond Frick and the late Carlton Fyler.
The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Ell-Saline High School. In 2004 she graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. She is a One2One Global Pharmaceutical Analyst at Hospira in McPherson.
The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Larned High School. In 2003 he graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. He is a farmer and rancher south of Larned.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 18 at Salemsborg Lutheran Church in Smolan.
