Randy and Tobi Strickland announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayci Ann Strickland, to Aaron David Scott, son of David and Doris Scott of Ness City.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Hoisington High School. She graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and in 2008 with a Master of Arts degree in English. She is employed by Great Bend High School as an English teacher.
The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of Ness City High School. He graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Performance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and in 2007 with a Master of Science degree in Psychology and in 2008 with a Education Specialist. He is employed by Otis-Bison Jr./Sr. High School as a school counselor.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 11 at the First United Methodist Church in Hoisington.
