Bill and Joni Hafner of Prairie Village announce the engagement of their son, Joshua Hafner, to Heidi Wetzel, daughter of Mark and Rita Wetzel of Roeland Park.
The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Kansas. She is completing her teaching certification in art education.
The prospective groom is a graduate of the University of Kansas. He is employed by The Des Moines Register in Des Moines, Iowa.
The wedding is planned for June 21 in Kansas City.
