Hathaway reunion held in St. John

The annual Hathaway reunion, families of the 12 children of the late John William and Reno Hathaway, was held June 23, at the I.O.O.F. Lodge in St. John with 77 attending.
Hostess for the reunion was Debbie Haddon. A business meeting was held and a covered dish lunch was served at noon. After lunch, family pictures were taken and a craft auction was held.
A short tribute was paid to Bill Miller who passed away June 15, at the Kansas Soldiers Home in Dodge City. Bill was the oldest grandchild of the 45 grandchildren of William and Reno Hathaway and was a big supporter of the reunions.
In attendance from St. John were Doris and Mark Tompkins, Rita and Kerry Suiter and Payton, Carl and Zoe Staub, Wade and Tonya Sanders, Michelle Huston, Diane and Lonnie Staub, Jerry and Seth Hathaway, Judy Shelton, Linda Frans, April and Joshua Mayer, Shaylene Hampton, Ashley, Alex and Alaina Robertson, Haley Sizemore, Lane and Colt Davis.
Attending from out of town were Zelma Lee Wendleburg of Stafford; Teresa Bachand, Fern Tompkins, Shari Koptik, Chad and Aden Robertson, Sara, Troy, Savanah, Morgan and Rylea Tutak of Great Bend; Rachella Briggs and Loretta Karst of Topeka; Sandy Benoit of Damar; Aaron Briggs of Wakarusa; Debbie Haddon, Connie Hathaway, Chris and Amanda Staub of Hudson; Mike Miller of Dodge City; Kevin Karst of Kansas City; Marilyn and Bernard Appelhans of Valley Center; Vertabell Hathaway, Steve and Ronda Wilkinson, Tammy and Megan Knoche, Brenda, Shelby, Trey, Zoe Goodwin, Shawn Prugle, Casey Williams of Hutchinson; Vicki Bunn of Ellinwood; Carmen and Antonia Carranza of McPherson; Heather Sizemore and Evan Drummond of Hoisington; and Donald Hathaway of Stafford.

The 2019 reunion will be held in St. John.
