Holliday inducted into the US Army Officer Candidate School Hall of Fame

Army Col. Janet R. Holliday has been inducted into the United States Army Officer Candidate School Hall of Fame at Fort Benning, Ga. The Hall of Fame is intended to honor graduates of the Officer Candidate School Program who have distinguished themselves in military or civilian pursuits.
The Hall of Fame is an honor bestowed upon deserving individuals that have reflected great credit upon the federal OCS program as an alumni or by direct interaction with the program. Selection to the OCS Hall of Fame places an individual in a group recognized as equals which include a former Vice President of America Nominee as well as valorous newly commissioned officers that gave their life so others might live.
Selection was based on the individual’s exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, teamwork ethic, personal achievements and record of supporting and serving the community.
Holliday is currently serving as a Chief Of Staff with U.S. Army Cadet Command, Fort Knox, Kentucky. She has served in the military for 30 years. A 1988 graduate of Great Bend High School, she earned a master’s degree in 2000 from the University of Kansas. She is the daughter of Joleen and Larry L. Holliday of Great Bend.
