Joyce Wegele of Otis will celebrate her 80th birthday on Oct. 7, 2019, with a card shower. 

Joyce was born on Oct. 7, 1939, in Galatia. She was the former co-owner of the Kitchen Cupboard. On Oct. 23, 1955, she married Leland Wegele. They will celebrate 64 years of marriage this year. They have three children, Richard and Mya, Paula and Steve, and Leann; four grandchildren, Michael, Morgan, Sam and Kelly; and two great-grandchildren, Syrus and Roree.
