Ellinwood School-Community Library student library assistant Gracyn Dombroski will be focusing on different Ellinwood High School seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this is featured in our Check It Out column. This week she has two Senior Spotlights – Alek Brack and Josef Anderson.

Brack is a senior at EHS. His family members are Amanda, Austin and Brody. “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” is his favorite books because they are enjoyable to read. His favorite quote is, “I don’t stop when I’m tired. I stop when I’m done.” What makes EHS special to Brack is that “you are friends with pretty much everybody and every staff member is nice.”

His favorite class is wood shop, because Joseph Kern is a good teacher and knows his stuff. Brack’s greatest challenge was making new friends when he  moved here. We wish Alek a great year in his senior chapter!

Anderson is a senior at EHS. His family members are Robert, Corii, June and Jason. His favorite book is any Harry Potter book, because of the descriptive detail. His favorite quote is, “Every moment is a fresh beginning.” -T.S Eliot. What makes EHS special to Anderson is how many different clubs there are.

His favorite class is T.A.ing (being a teaching assistant) for Andrew Wittenberg, because of the fact that he can help him. His greatest challenge is keeping his grades up. We wish Josef a great year in his senior chapter!
