‘Piece by Piece, Treasured Memories of Eric’ is our miniature mosaic workshop, and the public is invited to come and create their own memory.  Bits and pieces of porcelain, from the works of the late Eric Abraham (Flying Pig Studio), have been donated to the art center by his daughter, Mercedes. This workshop is the Grassroots Art Center’s, 213 South Main in Lucas, first opportunity to share them with the world.  Materials will be available from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., and participants may spend as little time, or as long as they want. Tiles, adhesive, mortar and filler pieces will be provided. The only fee will be for the pieces of porcelain you chose to assemble your own treasured memories of Eric.
Face Painting - immediately following the parade, and until 3 p.m. in the Courtyard, by Jolyn Gilbert. Fee will depend upon the design chosen.
