DANCE NATION Football season is so close we can almost taste it. Let's not pretend like we haven't been counting down the days and preparing our stomachs for the vast amounts of brats and nachos they're about to consume.

What you probably haven't been doing is filling the football void in your life with Arena Football. Sure, the idea of mixing football and hockey seems crazy, but the AFL can actually be entertaining and it also features amazing things like this.

At halftime during a recent game, the Arizona Rattlers dancers performed a routine that was pretty typical. Girls dancing to loud music on the 50-yard line. All seemed to be in order, until a massive man in full pads joins the dancing group and cuts a rug.

Big number 75 jumps in there and he's amazing. When I first watched it, my jaw dropped and I found myself cheering on this massive dancing lineman. Not only can this guy stop a charging linebacker in his tracks, but he can also do the splits and dance like a pro.

SPOILER ALERT

After this I had to look more into who this number 75 was and how big the Arizona Rattlers roster had him listed. Well, I found out his name is Oscar Hernandez and he is not a football player.

Hernandez is a professional dancer and choreographer for Pro Action Dance. The company does choreography for pro teams and apparently they do a bang up job.

While finding out the burley man isn't actually a player, but a dancer may ruin the magic for some of you, it doesn't for me. At the end of the day, Hernandez is still a huge fella that can pull off those moves in full pads. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
