Library participating in Ladies Night Out

Greetings from the Great Bend Public Library. Time seems to be speeding up since it’s almost the end of February. Just to let you know we are having Children’s Classes at 10 a.m. and a Children’s movie at 2 p.m. for all of the kiddo’s that are out of school. Next week on Monday, Feb. 27, there will be Crochet Classes at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the main conference room. At 4 p.m. there will be a Children’s Makerspace and they are building Robots. Teen Study Session starts at 3 p.m. and runs until 7:45 p.m. On Tuesday, Feb. 28, there will be a Books, Babies, and Bounce Class for ages 0-18 months at 10 a.m. and a Toddler Story Hour Class for ages 18 months-3 years at 11 a.m. At 3 p.m. there will be a Tech Tuesday Class featuring Introduction to Publisher. Wednesday, Mar.1, there will be a Teen Advisory Group or T.A.G. meeting at 4 p.m. On Friday, Mar. 3, there will be a Preschool Story Class at 10 a.m. At 7 p.m. there is an Adults’ Night Out Movie. Doors for the movie open at 6:45 p.m. and close at 7:15 p.m. For Tuesdays Toddler Story Hour Class and Fridays Preschool Story Class they are doing a Dr. Seuss Story Hour. We are also excited to announce that we will be at the Ladies Night Out at Waters True Value on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 5:30- 8 p.m. There is a Mardi Gras Theme this year and entry is free. We have some special gifts for any ladies that stop by our booth. Come out to visit with us and enjoy the evening.
