Living dog with the longest tongue? The Guinness Book of World Records has an entry for that.

Mochi, a female St. Bernard from South Dakota, holds the unlikely record with a 7.3-inch tongue. She was purchased seven years ago from Big Dogs Huge Paws, a rescue home in Colorado.

Getting the record will make all the slobber weve cleaned up worth it, Mochis owner, Carla Rickert, told the Guinness Book of World Records last year.

Mochi was featured in Guinness Amazing Animals book. Believe it or not, Mochis tongue still isnt the longest one Guinness has ever recorded. That honor belongs to Brandy, a boxer with a tongue that measured 1 foot 5 inches. Brandy returned to that big doghouse in the sky in 2002.
