Bill and Wanda Madden celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Sept. 7, 2019, with a family dinner.

Wanda Scheufler and Bill Madden were united in marriage by the late Reverend Thea Dons on Sept. 7, 1949, at First Baptist Church south of Ellinwood. They have three children, Pam (Kerry) Hendricks of Great Bend, Tamara Madden of Hutchinson and the late Thomas T. Madden; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
