The family of Floyd and Kathy (Collins) Norlin are honoring the couple with a reception and social gathering at the First United Methodist Church, 2123 Forest from 1-4 p.m. on Sept. 9. 

Kathy Collins and Floyd Norlin were united in marriage on Sept. 1, 1973, at St. Pat’s Church in Great Bend. Their family includes: Son Jeffrey Norlin of Hutchinson; daughter Suzanne Hess and husband Tyge Hess and grandchildren Tucker and Charlee Hess, all of Scott City; and granddaughter Kizzie Washington who is currently attending Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind.
