DickOgle2022
The Rev. Dick Ogle

The Rev. Dick Ogle will be the speaker for Aglow on Saturday at Perkins Family Restaurant, 2920 10th St. in Great Bend. Fellowship will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the meeting at 9:30 a.m.

Ogle was born in McDonough county, Ill. He attended school in Severa City where his father Pastored the Church of God. He attended Anderson College and later graduated from Fort Hays State University with a B.A., majoring in history. He was ordained in 1953 in Cozad, Neb.

During his 71 years of ministry, he held over 100 revivals and special speaking engagements over the continental United States, and during those years he pastored churches in Fairbury, Neb., Wabash, Ind., Clarkston, Wash., and in Great Bend, and is serving now in Hoisington. He served as bi-vocational minister most of those years, working as a tower construction contractor to pay the bills and service various congregations of the Church of God to fulfill his calling to share the good news of Christ’s redeeming love.

He patterned his ministry after the Apostle Paul, who labored as a “tent maker” to support the ministry in the New Testament Church. Ogle is eager to share his life lessons in service to our Savior with those who will attend the coming Aglow meeting on Oct. 8.
