Stephen H. and Janet (Axman) Pechanec of Otis will celebrate their 40th anniversary today with a renewal of vows ceremony at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Olmitz. A private reception will follow. 

The couple was united in marriage on May 16, 1981, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Olmitz. They have three children, Mark (Chelsea) Pechanec of LaCrosse, Luke (Kelsey) Pechanec of Otis, and Tina Pechanec of the home; and five grandchildren, Marissa, Kaitlyn, Tristin, Connor, and Isaac Pechanec. The couple enjoy being active in their church and community.
