The Quilting Bees met on Jan. 7 at the First Presbyterian Church in Larned. Mary Weber presented the program, a demonstration of a triangle finger pincushion.  

Show and Tell participants were Ann Hicks, KU Jayhawk modern quilt; Diann Morell, table topper and placements, baby quilt, Mickey and Minnie Mouse fleece throw in black, red and white; Karen Hadley, Horn of Plenty wall hanging; Merlene Baird, Horn of Plenty top in progress; Diane Schultz, Opportunity quilt for Threadbenders just ready for binding.

The next regular meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, with sewing beginning at 5 p.m. in the fellowship hall at the First Presbyterian Church in Larned. The public is invited and additional information may be obtained by calling the church at 620-285-6033.
