The Schneweis reunion was held on July 12, at the Parish Center in Claflin. Hosts were Les and Mary Lou Stewart, Paul and Bernice Huslig, Butch and Toni Schneweis, Lori Lane, Melanie Schneweis, Jim and Jolene Rziha, Bill & Lisa Richardson, Marty and Kathy Chacon. The day started with registration followed by a memorial service for family members who had passed away since the last reunion. A candle was lit for each of the following: Patrick Demel, Edwin Schneweis, Aiden Allen Riddle, Mary Habiger Hill, Joe Lane and Bernard Boor. A meal was catered by John Ross and Campany Signature Catering out of Garden City. A silent auction was held. The afternoon was spent visiting/card playing. A Mass was said at 4 p.m. by Father Pascal Klein. A hot dog feed was served to end the day.
Traveling the farthest distance were Mike and Carol Neeland and their children Kelsey and Luke from The Hague, The Netherlands.
