Descendants of the late Martin and Margaret Neeman Hemken met on Aug. 3, at Gambino’s in LaCrosse for their 85th reunion, hosted by descendants of the late Fred and Anna Hemken, Arlyn Renz, Janice Johnson and Cheryl Summers and Velda Lewis.
Those present were Arlyn and Gloria Renz of Albert; Irma Chlumsky of Hays; Wayne and Janice Johnson of Hastings, Neb.; Don Harders of Tucson, Ariz.; Morgan Wright of Texarkana, Ark.; Janice and Jonathan Folkerts of Timken; Wes and Jana Hemken, Cheryl Summers, Leon and Wanda Karst, Rich and Rhonda Karst, and Rayna and Cobb, of Rush Center; Eileen Nagle of Dodge City; Joan Fetter of Bucklin; Jeannine Moore of Pueblo, Colo.; Brent and Chiana Hemken, Arianna, Troy and Danielle of Larned; and Velda Lewis of Great Bend.
The 2015 reunion will be hosted by the descendants of the late John Hemken families.
