The 58th annual J. J. Michaelis family reunion was held on June 9, at the LaSada resort southwest of Russell. The event was attended by 49 individuals who enjoyed the pot luck dinner and visiting.

W. and LaJune Gustin from Ohnitz; Renee Cook, from Victoria; Ed and Janet Kuhn from Walker; Cynthia Steeples, from Palco; Wilma Broyles, from Logan; Bessie Michaelis and Tammy and Dalton Britton Caine, from Peabody; Connie Stewart came from Castle Rock, Colo.; Gene Craig and Barbara Michaelis and Brent, Clare and Sarah Gustin, from Hays; Pat Michaelis, from Topeka; Barbara and Todd Coffey, from Baldwin; Judy Michaelis, Nathen Wheelock, Perry Riebel, Lyndell and Janet Michaelis Steckman, Duane Beisner, Shane Michaelis, Kevin and Hope Michaelis, Gerald and Mary Mai, Stormy, Keelie and Kali Kephart, Austin, Madison and Brooklyn Michaelis, Vernon and Barbara Flegler, Velda Nuss, Randell and Janelle Boxberger and, Connie Golbek, fron Russell
