Gail Santy, Director of the Great Bend Public Library and the Central Kansas Library System, presented the program when the Progress Club met on Oct. 4. She stated that as director of the public library she wanted to update the library’s image and to have the library reflect the changes in the community. To do this, the library has become more handicapped accessible and has a special program for middle school-age teens. She also gave everyone copies of the “Fall 2021 Library Program.“

The Honorable Mike Keeley, a retired judge, will present the Nov. 1 program. Hostesses will be Sharon Mauler and Nancy Schuetz.
