Student Library Assistant Gracyn Dombroski will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today we have three Senior Spotlights. Today’s Senior Spotlights are Emma Nienke, Brayden Williams and AJ Bowyer.

Emma is a senior at EHS. Her family members are mother Angie Zink, dad Mike Nienke, sister Libby Zink. Emma’s favorite book is “Fly Guy” because they are short and simple and the fly looks funny and it makes Emma laugh every time she looks at it. Her favorite quote is, “Life isn’t about waiting for a storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.”

People might be surprised to know that Emma is going to college to be an underwater welder. Her favorite teacher at EHS is Mr. Winter because he is kind and fun and always helps Emma with her lifting form. Emma’s advice for incoming students is don’t cause more trouble when you are already in trouble. We wish Emma a great year in her senior chapter!

Brayden is a senior at EHS. His family members are Robert, Jessica, Bryce and Macy. His favorite quote is, “Love all, Trust a Few, Do wrong to none.” Brayden’s favorite class is Ag Power, because it helps him understand how engines work.

His plans for after graduation is to be a diesel technician. Brayden is a member of FFA and plays baseball. We wish Brayden a great year in his senior chapter.

AJ  is a senior at EHS. His family members are Holly, BJ, Brent, Alvin, Ashylynn, Jackson, and London. AJ’s favorite book is “Old Yeller.” His favorite quote is, “I feel like I’m too busy writing history to read it.” – Kanye West.

AJ’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Fischer, because she is chill. AJ’s advice for incoming students is to show up to class on time. We wish AJ a great year in his senior chapter.
