Christy Keeley and Mitchell Birt were united in marriage on May 11 in Omaha, Neb. in a double ring ceremony officiating by the Rev. Charlene Wozny. Parents of the couple are Mike and Jan Keeley and Randall and Christine Birt.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a satin side-draped gown with a chapel train featuring a beaded applique belt. She carried a bouquet of white roses adorned with silver brooches in the center.
Maid of honor was Beth Keeley. Matron of honor was Cindy Beck. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Sieben, of Manhattan, Emily Crupper, of Overland Park, and Katherine Birt, sister of the groom, of Omaha, Neb.
Best man was Russ Birt, of Rochelle, Ill. Groomsmen were Cameron Tajvar, of New York, N.Y. John McCardle and T.J. O’Leary, both of Omaha, Neb., and Matt Keeley,  brother of the bride, of Olathe, Neb.
Ringbearers were Cade Keeley, Lukas Beck and Lawson Beck, nephews of the bride. Flowergirl was Reese Keeley, niece of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Great Bend High School. In 2006 she graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor degree in Human Services. She is employed with KVC in Olathe.
The groom is a graduate of Millard North High School in Omaha. He recently graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and is currently an Orthopaedic Surgery Resident at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City Kansas.
The couple resides in Kansas City.
