Mr. and Mrs. Bitter

Brent and Paula Bitter were united in marriage on Oct. 11 in Estes Park, Colo. in a double ring ceremony officiated by Pastor Ron Bockhaus. Parents of the bride are Beverly Hachmeister and Paul and Judy Hachmeister. Parents of the groom are Karolyn McCaslin and the late Marvin Bitter.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Nathaniel Florian.
Bridesmaids were Tesha Florian, daughter of the bride, of Medicine Lodge, Natasha Florian, daughter of the bride, of Fairview, Okla., and Brandi Florian, daughter of the bride, of Holyrood. They wore long clover green satin dresses.
Groomsmen were Brian Bitter, brother of the groom of Hoisington, Nathan Bitter son of the groom of Holyrood and Nathaniel Florian, son of the bride of Claflin.
Ring bearers were Preston Florian of Claflin, and Collin Wampler of Medicine Lodge, grandsons of the bride.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Joshuah Erickson of Eaton, Colo., nephew of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Natoma High School and Kansas Wesleyan University with an Associates Degree in Nursing. She is attending Fort Hays State University studying nursing. She is employed at the Russell County Health Department as the administrator and county health officer.
The groom is a graduate of Hoisington High School and Pittsburgh State University. He is employed by Cashco, Inc. in Ellsworth as a supervisor and is co-owner of B & B Metal Arts in Hoisington.
The couple reside in Holyrood. A reception will be held in November in Russell.
