Karla Taylor of Great Bend, and Dr. M. R. “Pete” Hayden, of Camdenton, Mo. were united in marriage on Oct. 11 in a private outdoor ceremony near Camdenton, Mo.
The couple were classmates and graduates of ACL High School in Lineville, Iowa.
The bride is a graduate of Northwest Missouri University, in Maryville, Mo. and a retired educator. She has two children, Clint Taylor of Austin, Texas and Tegwin Taylor and husband Carl Lebsack, of Charleston, W.V.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Missouri Medical School and served in the United States Navy. Following clinical practice, he continues in medical research at MU. He has two daughters, Kelly Hayday and husband Chris, of Columbia, Mo. and Molly Garagnani and husband Mike of Camdenton, Mo.; and four grandchildren, Megan and Maddie Hayday and Jack and Tommy Garagnani.
The couple resides in Camdenton, Mo.
