Mr. and Mrs. Hoff

Sara Beth Schlabach of Hanover, and Kevin Andrew Hoff of Great Bend, were united in marriage on June 26 at St. John Catholic Church with Father David Metz officiating. Parents of the couple are Darrell and Debra Schlabach of Hanover, and Terry and Mary Katherine Hoff of Great Bend. Grandparents are Wilhelmina Johnson of Hanover and the late Harold Johnson, the late Howard and Delores Schlabach, Alice Chaffee of Pharr, Texas and the late James Chaffee, and the late Harold and Helen Hoff.
Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a custom designed wedding gown which was made from silk crepe with a French Alencon lace overlay. The gown featured an empire waist bodice with a lace edged sweetheart neck line and lace trimmed spaghetti straps. The flowing skirt featured a chapel length train adorned with lace appliques. Her gown was complemented by her lace trimmed, fingertip length, double layer veil. The dress was designed and sewn by her sister, Amy Collier. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of fresh purple and white hydrangeas and light yellow ranunculus bound with lace and ribbon. The groom wore a black tuxedo, cream colored vest, and light yellow tie. His boutonniere was a light yellow ranunculus.
Maid of honor was Abby Schlabach, sister of the bride, and matron of honor was Amy Schlabach, sister of the bride. They wore orchid colored silk strapless dresses with a sweetheart neckline, roushed cumberbund waistline, and a full knee length skirt.
The best man was Matthew Hoff, brother of the groom, and groomsman was Brian Hoff, brother of the groom.
Ushers were Jacob Waller and Monty White, friends of the groom.
Flowergirl was Megan Louderback, cousin of the bride, and ring bearer was Ayden Schlabach, nephew of the bride.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Hanover High School. She graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is employed by Community Memorial Healthcare in Marysville.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Great Bend High School. He graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He is employed by USD 498 in Waterville.
After a honeymoon in Branson, Mo. the couple resides in Breman.
