Lisa Ann Ille and Joseph Charles Muiller were united in marriage on June 30 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence, in a double-ring ceremony officiated by Father John Schmeidler. Parents of the couple are Mark and Linda Ille of Ellinwood and Steve and Michelle Muiller of Lawrence. Grandparents of the bride are the late Andy and Marge Detmer and the late Frank and Hilda Ille. Grandparents of the groom are Barbara Muiller and the late Harold Muiller, Paul and Susie Rios, and John and the late Sue Zemites.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless, ivory, fitted a-line gown with a sweetheart bodice, embellished with delicate embroidery and accented with Swarovski crystals. She carried a bouquet of hydrangea, orchids and lilies in shades of white.
Maid of honor was Deedra Baker. Bridesmaids were Lauren Edelman, Amy Timken, Megan Komp, and Abby Thill.
Best man was Matthew O’Shea, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Ben Muiller and Tom Muiller, both brothers of the groom, and Ethan Komp and Kyle Edelman.
Ushers were Kevin Ille, brother of the bride, Matthew Hall and Sam Spyres.
Ring bearer and flower girl were Banks and Bennett Jacobs.
Candlelighters were Jennifer Connell and Nicole Stejskal.
Trumpeter was Debra Steiner, cousin of the bride.
Guestbook attendants were Megan Ille, sister-in-law of the bride, Anna Debes and Rachel Debes, cousins of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Ellinwood High School and Washburn University. She is currently attending Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tenn.
The groom is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Washburn University with a degree in Biology. He is employed at Poplar Healthcare as a department manager.
After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Memphis, Tenn.
