A big thank you
The Kansas Reading Road Maps after-school club at Park Elementary School recently made Valentines for Great Bend police officers with the theme Thank You for keeping us safe. The students wrote notes to each of the officers. One note read Thank you officer (Ethan) Thomas for finding my bike. Pictured in the front row are Conner Crowe, Raven Bettinger, Camila Arias, Xoxhitl Segovia, Daniela Atmendariz and Rialey Bettinger. In the back row are officer Thomas, Breanna Bowers, Brenden Roberts, Brooklyn Roberts, Adelina Buyanda, teacher Lori Thomas KRR and Cristian Chacon. KRR helps students with literacy and reinforcement skills.
