Airplane forced to make emergency landing
gbtribune news

At 12;35 p.m. on Thursday one mile south of Bushton, a 1968 piper fixed wing aircraft flown by Brad Fitchett, 51 of Ellsworth, was in the process of spraying pesticide on a crop field and had to make an emergency landing when the engine stalled.
Fitchett attempted the emergency landing and skidded over 180 feet through the field when the plane flipped over on its top.
The pilot received injuries and was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital.
