The 2019 American Petroleum Institute scholarship applications are due by March 31. The Western Kansas Chapter of API is offering four $1,000 college scholarships available each year for up to four years to 2019 graduating seniors.

Applicant must hold a GPA in the upper 50 percent of his or her class. Additionally, to be eligible applicant must have a parent/guardian who works in an oil and gas related profession in Kansas or the applicant must pursue a degree in an oil and gas related field, such as chemistry, engineering or geology, while attending college.
