Great Bend Public Library announces March art exhibit

 

Art by Ester Maher, Elaine Pugh, Bev Simonson and Barb Unrein, along with photography by Mike Courson, will be on display this month in the Fine Arts Room at the Great Bend Public Library.

According to library public relations director Terri Hurley, "When the scheduled March display was suddenly canceled these wonderful friends of art came together to fill the Fine Arts room with the magic of their work."

Visit the library during regular library hours before March 31 to view this display.

 

Chamber of Commerce Coffee to be held at Murray Chiropractic

 

This week’s Chamber of Commerce Coffee will be hosted by Murray Chiropractic, 2100 Kansas, at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Ambassador in charge will be Nancy Sundahl with greeters Lana Dietz and Barry Bowers. Coffee, doughnuts and door prizes will be available.

 

Eldon Potts guest speaking at Pawnee Rock Christian Church

 

Eldon Potts of Christ to the Nations will speak at the Pawnee Rock Christian Church at 7 p.m. today. He will speak about his work in the Philippines and is a gospel singer. The public may be interested to know how the disasters in Japan will affect his work in the Philippines.
