Bartons Silver Cougar Club quilting workshop

Barton Community College’s Silver Cougar Club will host a quilting workshop from 2-4 p.m. on Mondays from Sept.17 through Oct. 22 at the Learning Resource Center on campus.
The workshop will be taught by master quilter Judy Burnette and will focus on producing a 16-by-45 inch table runner.
Quilters will need to bring the following items: a sewing machine, one yard of background fabric, one yard of main fabric, one-fourth yard of accent fabric with coordinating thread,  a rotary cutter, cutting mat and other basic sewing supplies such as pins, scissors etc.  Batting will be provided. There is a maximum number of 12 people for this workshop. The minimum enrollment of eight must be reached by Tuesday, Sept. 4 for the class to occur.  Cost is $45 per person.
