A review of proposed revisions to Barton Community College’s bidding procedures is on the agenda for this month's BCC Board of Trustees study session, set for 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, in Room F-30 of the Fine Arts Building. Among the proposed changes is the addition of this statement, “Projects with an estimated value in excess of $50,000 shall be submitted to the Great Bend Chamber Plan Room.” The proposed changes also include a website where vendors can register if they wish to be considered for contracts.
Other items on the agenda Thursday include a presentation by an EduKan representative, financial statement, insurance, KanREN (Internet services) agreement, board retreat and Fiscal Year 2013 board officers. At the end of the meeting, trustees will receive iPad training, which is an ongoing item.

Note the date of this meeting has been changed. Earlier versions of this story had the wrong date.
