Cars collide in Stafford County; 5 injured

Five people were taken to Pratt Regional Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 3, after two cars collided at 11:48 a.m. in Stafford County. Kansas Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred on SE 10 Ave. and SE 70 Road, or one mile east of U.S. 281.
A 2003 Oldsmobile Alero driven by Kenneth A. Keller, 62, St. John, was southbound on SE 10 Ave. and collided in the intersection with a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon, driven by Austin C. Ceniti, 16, Stafford, who was eastbound on SE 70 Road.
Keller and Ceniti were not wearing seat belts.
Passengers in the Hyundai were also injured and taken to the hospital. They were Brooke Polly, 16, and Trista Katz, 14, both of Macksville; and Preston Ceniti, 13, Stafford. Polly was not wearing a seat belt; the other two passengers were.
