A cougar that may be loaned to the Great Bend Brit Spaugh Zoo is coming from Panthera Research. This was reported in a story in the Aug. 5 Great Bend Tribune, but Panthera Research was confused with Panthera Corporation, a nonprofit conservation organization devoted to the world’s 37 species of wild cats. Panthera Corporation does not rescue or take in animals of any kind.
