Free programs feature wildlife photography of Cheyenne Bottoms

The Great Bend Recreation Commission will host a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled "Wildlife Photography of Cheyenne Bottoms," from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St. This program will also be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 7, at the Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave.

Dr. Dan Witt, wildlife photographer, and Eric Giesing, an educator with Kansas Wetlands Education Center and Fort Hays State University, will be the presenters for this program.

GBRC Program Coordinator Garet Fitzpatrick invites the public to "come and see beautiful images from a local, renowned wildlife photographer." Participants will also learn about unique behaviors and other interesting facts, and view some of the live animals that live in the Cheyenne Bottoms Refuge.
