The Barton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a 900-gallon fuel trailer from Straub International, 214 SW 40 Ave.
Sheriff Brian Bellendir said the tank had a ball hitch lock that was broken off. It was taken sometime between last Thursday and Monday morning. “It was not loaded,” he said. “It was brand new.”
Loss was $18,018.
